ShipboardToday’s modern shipboard environment requires electrical products that meet strict military standards for shock, vibration, heat, humidity, electro-magnetic interference and airborne noise – while remaining commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS).

NOVA Power Solutions has been providing MIL-STD-1399 Section 300A-compliant ruggedized Power Conditioners, Battery Backup, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies since 1989. With thousands of power solutions deployed on hundreds of naval ships worldwide, we understand the demands of a shipboard environment and work with you to make sure your unique requirements are met.

Compliance to Military Standards
Our products are customizable, but we offer many standard solutions which may already meet your needs. All NOVA Power Solutions UPS’s and Power Conditioners meet Mil-std 1399 Section 300A and accept both delta or wye input power.

Many of our products have been tested to Mil-std 901D and passed the Heavyweight barge test in a shock-mounted cabinet, and Mil-std 167-1A for vibration. Most products are compliant with Mil-std 461E and we will work with you to ensure our products are compliant in your specific cabinet and configuration as necessary.

Our products have also been tested to be in compliance with Mil-std 810F for high temperature, low temperature, humidity, salt/fog and blown precipitation. Many of our products also meet Mil-std 1474 for airborne noise.

Products
Our SRNDTI series UPS is our most popular shipboard, rackmount uninterruptible power supply who began production in 2000. There are many variations of this product depending on your requirements, please inquire more for options.

Our NPS Series UPS is our new next-generation SRNDTI Series UPS, with upgrades including a hot-swappable battery and manual bypass feature.
